Compañia cafeteria la Meseta is a family business with long experience in the marketing of coffee in Colombia. The reliability and performance has allowed us continued growth and continued market permanence since its inception in 1983. The history of La Meseta began as small-scale coffee growers with a production of 10.000kg of coffee parchment in the town of Villamaria, State of Caldas, Colombia, and today the company has established itself as a strong agro-industrial complex with an average production of Excelso coffee (green coffee) export type of 25,000 bags per month on average.

The trajectory, experience and deep knowledge of the environment from the base, has allowed the company to transform difficulties and crisis in growing opportunities, even in the toughest times  of recent history of the Colombian coffee.

Our reason for being

Compañia Cafetera la Meseta has established itself as a solid enterprise, committed to the marketing of  Colombian coffee, characterized by its efficiency in production, processing, threshing and exports of Excelso coffee, giving particular attention to the welfare of the farmer as a basis for the sustainability of the activity in the future.

We, at Compañia Cafetera la Meseta project for 2015 as a leader in the marketing of Excelso coffee, known for high quality products and processes, with a large group of strategic suppliers and customers and advanced risk management, supported by a highly trained co-workers, structured processes and systems for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
