Coffee crops are one of the most important in the country, due to the demand for the product, the history behind it, culturally what it represents, its landscape, and because it possesses one of the most beautiful spectacles of nature: it’s flowering.
Everything has its beginning: during the coffee crop, one of the most beautiful tasks is its sowing. In Compañia Cafetera La Meseta S.A. we strive to carry out a clean and careful process, being rigorous and precise in its evolution. During the collection of the seeds, we look for varieties of low bearing, productive and healthy. Through growth, we seek to provide our crops with the best substrate, using their pulp as organic matter, followed by the best inputs for the healthy development of the tree.
Is a work of high responsibility, since the specimen that we sow must have a life cycle of at least 20 years so that we can offer to Colombia and the world great harvests. There’s no place for mistakes. For that reason, the Agricultural Department of the Company seeks to be at the forefront efficiently and effectively, with technical and technological tools along with high social impact.
Its a team effort where through experience and knowledge we give everything for productivity, reflected in hard work, dedication, and above all, in better social welfare for the people who help us in this day to day labor.
